About the Fused glass jewellery
I make handcrafted Fused glass jewellery from Art and Dichroic glass, using a wide range of colours, patterns and textures. Each piece is individually designed and made by me in my own studio. It's called Fused Glass jewellery because layers of glass are fused together in a kiln to form a solid piece.
You can choose from pendants, earrings, bangles, bracelets, rings and cufflinks in a wide variety of styles and shapes. The website only shows a very small selection of my work, so I'm happy to send you pictures of pieces not on the website.
Dichroic glass is very colourful and iridescent, lending itself to making quite beautiful jewellery. Some of it looks like Murano glass because of these qualities.
All the chains and most of the fittings are Sterling Silver apart from the bangles, bracelets and cufflinks which are silver plated. I also have suede, leather and ribbon 'chains' in a wide variety of colours with Sterling Silver fittings.
My jewellery is mostly sold at craft fairs around Glasgow with regular events at Merchant Square in Glasgow (see the Craft Fairs page for dates). I'm also asked to hold private jewellery parties which I'm always very happy to do.
I'm also very happy to take commissions or make pieces in different colours to order. All the pieces are gift wrapped in nice boxes.
I hope you see something you like.
Sonya
